And the Rue Saint-Honoré area of Paris is the inspiration for the latest handbags for women by Longchamp.

The French luxury leather maker is commemorating the district, where it opened its first Paris boutique in 1998, with the launch of its new handbag range for women, the Paris Premier.

The tote bags have been designed to embody the Rue Saint-Honore and surrounding area. They are made out of French calfskin with gently curved handles and brass hardware.

The curved handles symbolise the arcades of Rue de Rivoli and Rue de Castiglione and the calfskin denotes the luxury of the Rue Saint-Honoré boutiques and surrounding grand hotels. Obviously!
