Following the success of the first 500 EXP sold, an impressive superyacht that had embarked on an expedition that was nothing less than idyllic, the model has proven to be a creation of innovative technology, creative design, and premium customisation. The latest commission of its kind, to a young entrepreneur in Hong Kong, is set to arrive in 2022 and is a new and improved embodiment of opulence and the sense of liberty from exploring the vast open sea.

Whether it is for sipping sundowners in the company of whales or setting up picnics with the stunning backdrop of a glacier, the new and improved 500 EXP model, off of the Explorer line, expands on the Italian yacht builder’s previous creations in size, style and latest technology. Designed truly with expeditions in mind, this glamorous hull steers a month-long cruise across the world and boasts extensive storage and several deluxe features that can accommodate the flexibility and adventurous lifestyle of any adventurer.

Stepping onto the 47-metre long super yacht, the main deck is featured as the heart of the hull. Warmly welcoming guests with ample space and a contemporary-styled interior highlighted by the natural light that spills through wide windows in every direction. The saloon sits a formal dining setting and a lounge area for a casual gathering.

The cockpit that leads out to the aft deck excites with its impressively sizable seven-metre long tenders which doubles as a helipad. Below, a swimming platform allows a dip into the pool bringing you just a splash away from ocean waters.

The stylised staircase within the main deck links to the level above, where it shelters the captain’s cabin and wheelhouse as well as a day head and second guest saloon. The upper deck however, is the highlight of the level, setting a perfect al fresco environment for a chat around the coffee table or a relaxing day on the sun loungers, complete with a gym and a Jacuzzi for a romantic star-gazing evening.
