<p>The award was presented during a glamorous gala dinner on the eve of the 2024 Singapore Yachting Festival. Attendees included over 300 VIPs, ranging from yacht owners and prospects, industry insiders and yacht manufacturer representatives, all gathered to celebrate the best of the yachting industry in Asia and internationally.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Success factors</h3>



<p>The Antares 12 notched up this success for several reasons, with the juries stating: “At almost 43ft, the Antares 12 moves Beneteau’s weekender range into a new sector, with a fully developed flybridge, a flexible foredeck, three cabins including two with en-suite bathrooms, and the option of up to 900hp of power from three outboard engines.”</p>

<p>As the flagship model of the Antares range, the Antares 12 made its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2023. Following an Antares 12 tour in the Mediterranean the from April 18th to June 15th, consisting of eight stopovers, the first Antares 12 is expected to arrive in Hong Kong in the second half of 2024.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Revamped Antares range</h3>



<p>“Beneteau is very happy to receive the Best Motor Yacht Award for the Antares 12 here in Singapore,” said Erwan HER, the sales director of Beneteau Asia-Pacific, who also pointed out that the Antares 8 won the Best Fishing Award in Japan in March.</p>

Both the Antares 7 and 8 have cruising and fishing versions available while the Antares 11 and 12 are equipped with a fully-fitted galley and a flybridge (optional for the 11). From the Antares 7, the ingenious starboard access gate offers easy and safe access, to mention just a few,” added HER.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Antares 12 Hong Kong presentation</h3>

<p>Powered by twin Mercury Verado V10 400 HP engines, the Antares 12 is also available with triple Mercury Verado V8 300 HP engines.</p>

<p>Boating enthusiasts and industry leaders descended on Shanghai two weeks ago for the annual Asian Marine and Boating Awards. The event, which honours outstanding winners from across the breadth of Asia, saw luxury yachtmaker Beneteau nab two highly-coveted awards in one single swoop.</p>

<p>Beneteau received its first accolade of the evening – Best Sailing Boat over 40ft – for its much-lauded Oceanis Yacht 62. First unveiled in 2016, this model blends high performance and precision maneuverability with the utmost levels of comfort and luxury, and has already received the title of European Yacht of the Year 2017.</p>
